The Portsmouth Women Supporters Club are proud to announce the launch of the Portsmouth Women Supporters Club - Girls Scholarship Scheme in partnership with Align Performance.

Every season the PWSC aim to contribute to the Portsmouth community by supporting local initiatives in girls football. Last season we supported Pompey in the Community by supplying substitute benches for several of their girls teams.

One of the initiatives for this season is our partnership with Align Performance.

This partnership will see selected girls join the PWSC Scholarship scheme and be provided with free 1-2-1 football coaching sessions. The sessions will be delivered by trained coaches at Align Performance centres in the area.

1-2-1 coaching is an excellent way help young players improve aspects of their game. This level of individual coaching isn't always affordable to all so our aim for the Scholarship scheme is to allow greater access for young girls in the area.
