Portsmouth Women Supporters Club

On Sunday the Portsmouth Women Supporters Club were delighted to present our player of the season awards as voted for by our members. Our Young Player of the Season award went to Georgie Freeland. Georgie has featured 21 time for Pompey this season scoring 3 times. Our Player of the Season award went to Meg Hornby. Meg has featured 23 times for Pompey this season scoring 6 times. Huge congratulations to Georgie and Meg.

On Sunday the Portsmouth Women Supporters Club were delighted to present Emma Jones with a trophy to commemorate 100 appearances for Portsmouth Women, a landmark she achieved against Sheffield United in March. Emma has now made 101 appearances scoring 33 goals since joining Portsmouth in July 2021. Congratulations Emma. Our Chair Ian Chiverton presents Emma Jones with her 100 appearance trophy

On Monday April 20th the Portsmouth Women Supporters' Club held our final in person meeting of the season in the Victory Lounge at Fratton Park. The Event started with a Supporters Club update from our Chair Ian Chiverton. Ian shared updates on our sponsorship of the US Portsmouth U13 Girls and our Scholarship Scheme where we announced our two first two PWSC Scholars Maisie Linfield and Amelia Hall. On Monday (December 1st) Portsmouth Women Supporters' Club held a mid season meeting in the Victory Lounge at Fratton Park. Despite the stormy weather over Portsmouth there was a great turnout with plenty of Pompey fans in attendance. The Event started with a speech from Chair Ian Chiverton , who shared an update with Members about what the Supporters Club had achieved since our AGM Back in August. The Portsmouth Women Supporters Club are proud to announce that we will be sponsoring the US Portsmouth U13 Girls team until the end of the 2025/26 season. Our sponsorship arrangement will see us provide an away shirt for the team with the PWSC as the main shirt sponsor.
