On Monday (December 1st) Portsmouth Women Supporters' Club held a mid season meeting in the Victory Lounge at Fratton Park.

Despite the stormy weather over Portsmouth there was a great turnout with plenty of Pompey fans in attendance.

The Event started with a speech from Chair Ian Chiverton, who shared an update with Members about what the Supporters Club had achieved since our AGM Back in August. This included news on our recent agreement to sponsor the US Portsmouth U13 Girls Team and the launch of the Portsmouth Women Supporters Club - Girls Scholarship Scheme.

Next up was our new Legends Interview section of the evening. We were lucky enough to be joined by former players Gemma Hillier and Fi McMillan who between them boast over 600 recorded appearances for the club and have won over 40 trophies whilst wearing the blue and white shirt. We were very grateful for them giving up their time to come down and share their stories with supporters.

We were delighted to award Manager Jay Sadler with a 250 Appearance Trophy at the event having hit the milestone the week before when Portsmouth travelled to play Birmingham.

The Q&A event commenced soon after featuring a fantastic panel made up of First Team Head Coach Jay Sadler, Head of Football Brooke Chaplen and Players Meg Hornby and Hannah Coan.

Fans were given the opportunity to sign up to the Supporters' Club at the event and chat to their idols post Q&A, Supporters stayed late into the evening getting photos and socialising.
