At this years AGM we were delighted to present our very first special recognition award. This award will go to people who go above and beyond to support and/or promote the Women's team.

The 2025 award went to someone who has used his position as a presenter at Express FM to promote the women’s team for many years, way before the Women’s  game was as big as it is now and our Women’s team were playing in front of much smaller attendances.

He has introduced regular women’s updates on the Express FM Football hour and has had women’s team officials, players and fans as guests on a regular basis.  He has also been involved in bringing Express FM commentary to some of the women’s games. He has always used his position to positively introduce the women’s team to the wider fan base without a personal agenda or reward.
