Pompey Women Visit Maiden Castle - Durham (A)

Pompey Women fell to a disappointing 6-0 defeat at Maiden Castle on Sunday in the Women's Championship.

Around 20 Blues made the long trip up north. An amazing commitment which has been the case all season. We are proud of every single supporter who travelled to get behind the team.

Pompey fans put their flags up and behind the away dug out before the game.
Maiden Castle had a beautiful surrounding. It was right next to an immaculate cricket pitch. It was a stunning day, just a bit windy!

There was plenty of parking on site and we were guided to a free spot by friendly stewards.
Once inside a glossy programme was available from the club shop and there was a bar outside the stadium. Inside the stadium a mobile catering van provided hot food and drinks.

The match didn't go Pompey's way despite a relatively bright start. Our season is now down to two huge home games. Lets all get down to Westleigh Park and cheer the girls on.
